The Alligator Tamer

Only few in the world can do this....it's amazing!  She is our very own Alligator Dundee!

Our first family trip to Florida!!!!

We finally traveled down to the Sunshine State to visit Grandma (MuMu) and Grandpa (BaBa) in Sarasota.  It was so much fun!  We loved going to the beach, Aquarium, Ringling Brothers Barnum and Baily Circus Museum, swimming, picnics, State park, seeing the wildlife and alligators, sunsets, sunshine, food and most importantly- the family time.

We went to a restaurant called The Beach House.  They have a contest to see which table can guess the time of the sunset down to the exact second and whoever guesses correctly wins a bottle of champagne for the table.  We were 2 seconds off this time, Gary has won in the past.    Too bad....I had to stick to drinking my banana daiquiris!

This alligator was one of the biggest Grandma and Grandpa had seen.  It was very visible in the water, moving only it's big, strong, thick tail to move itself in the water...it was creepy looking!

This is Hannah sleeping on Grandpa on the last day.  She was pooped!

We had a blast and can't wait to visit again soon!

Bilateral Tympanostomy Procedure

In short, Hannah had ear tubes put in both ears on Thursday morning.  We had to be there at 6:30 AM to get prepped and ready to go.  We visited with all the doctors and nurses then she was given a sedative then quickly off to the surgery.  10 minutes later, the surgery was over and 10 more minutes they wheeled Hannah into the room.  She was moaning and VERY groggy but soon snapped out of it as she gulped down 2 big sippy cups of apple juice, which she doesn't normally even like.

We got home around 10 am and she continued to be grumpy and out of sorts until we put her down for an early nap that lasted 4 hours.

(see her hospital tags on her ankle)

After nap, things were much happier around here...

Prognosis: Good

Henceforth, I dub thee....Princess Plays-A-Lot

Lately Hannah has been fashioning her links around her head like a crown.

She even shares the love and puts the crown on other's heads.

Something new is how Hannah puts her baby dolls in certain places in the stroller or grocery carts.  She used to toss them around and step on them but now, she puts them where Mommy and Daddy puts her in the carts.  And she even puts their little baby feet  through the holes like so....

"Ouwt-ssss" = ouch

Hannah had her first "ouwt-ssss" (emphasis on the S).  She kept repeating "ouwt-ssss", pointing to her little scratch on her right foot, and fake crying, crossed brows and all.    I picked her up and bandaged the wound with a cute little starfish band-aide.  She was satisfied then, but she didn't let me forget about it, she reminded me every hour, and every hour I would pick her up in my arms again to tend to her fake wimpers.  As you can see in the pic below, it must really hurt.  Silly girl!

Sunday Smiles

This is a special dress for Hannah, a Feltman Brothers dress, from Dede and Papi.  Tom and I made a HUGE deal about it and said over and over how pretty she looked in it.    She acted like she knew it too.

Hannah's new BFF

After Tom's surgery, our good friend, Seane, Amy and their two kids, Bailey, and Reese, came over to visit and bring us dinner.  It was so sweet of them and very yummy too!  Hannah made a new best friend with Seane while he was over at our house.  She had met him probably once before, but nothing stopped her from  crawling up to him and cuddling in his arms.  I had to grab the camera!
