Happy 5 month Birthday Hannah!  She is growing more and more each day!  It's a shock when clothes don't fit her when they did just a week prior.  She's getting more precious each and every day!  It seems like there is something new every day for Hannah to learn.  This month we are working on sitting up.  While sitting on her bottom, Hannah is able to bend over and touch her toes and feet, for a few seconds, without falling over.  This is the first sign of sitting up.  Despite what some may think, she can touch her feet over her belly (Nunice).    Hannah has accomplished rolling over this month and has also tried putting her knees under her chest while raised up on her arms.  We'll blink and she'll be crawling soon!  Thanks to Dede for helping with the photo shoot this month.  She sure knows how to make her grandparents' hearts melt!  Just look at that cute face!









Hannah has decided this month that everything is supposed to go in her mouth.  She opens her mouth like it is a landing strip.  Bottles, remotes, phones, toys, stuffed animals, our arms and hands, you name it...it all has to pass the slobber test.  Examples below.  She looks, wants then opens her mouth...

Hannah's milestones this month are...

*Turns her head toward her name and voices.
*Squeels and talks in delight.
*Reaches and tracks objects.
*Returns smiles, only when she's in the mood to.
*Raises her head and shoulders up on her arms when on belly.
*Rolls over
*Bears her weight on her legs.

Tom and I have decided to start giving Hannah some rice cereal with a baby spoon at night, as well as all her bottle feedings.  We hope this goes well.  Please cross your fingers for us and wish us luck.  We do not want any tears over this, we want it to be a positive thing.  The doctor said that some babies react as though their parents are trying to poison them.  Let's hope this is not our case.

Hannah has become quite the little morning person lately.  All this week, she has been waking her Daddy and me up at 5:30 just wanting to chat.  How rude!  Doesn't she know we don't talk that early in the morning?!? 

It's been such an adventure this far, we can't wait to see what another month will bring us!  We love you sweet Angel!  Happy 5 month birthday!
