Hannah is 4 months old!
Hannah turned 4 months old on February 2, 2007! It has been an eventful month with our new addition to the family. She is quite a joy to have around! Here are some pics to celebrate!
We needed a little help with the smiles for this photo shoot so we brought in the BEST...Daddy!
Hannah is also turned into such a handful! She has her opinions and 'voices' them if Daddy and I don't oblige. (which is partly why this bday update is so late). She is awake more and sometimes makes it very difficult to have some time in the other room from her. Good news is that she is going to bed around 7:00 or 7:30. Tom and I have set up a bedtime routine for her and she can now go to sleep all on her own. She also takes naps in her crib! Here are some milestones that Hannah has reached this month:
* Hold head steady in any position, even when being pulled to sitting.
* Raise chest supported by arms.
* Hold herself up on her legs.
* Reach for objects.
* Squeel, laugh and "talk". (as you witnessed if you are tunned into our blog)
* Turn in direction of her name and voices.
* Almost roll onto her stomach from her back. She has already accomplished rolling from her stomach to her back.
* Scoots around on her back and side.
At her four month Drs appointment, Hannah stats are (drum roll please)....
Weight 17 lbs. and 10 ozs.= 97%. Height 24 1/2=70%, Head 16 1/2=85%. She is very healthy and happy. Tom and I increased her formula intake to 6 ozs. each feeding. She was on 4 each feeding and that was not satisfying her. She was basically starving and crying for more every 2 hours or so. Craziness for Mommy and Daddy...we thought we had a newborn again.
Hannah is also off her acid reflux medicine and is having no negative symptoms. Yay! We thought she was but instead was getting another cold. Which brings me to our next subject...being sick when your 4 months old. Yikes! Grumpiness! And lots of sleep! She, again, gave it to Mommy and had a FUN filled week or so of doing none of the normal daily activities. Boo! But the good news is that we both are feeling GREAT and Daddy dodged this round. We are on the mend and almost back to "normal".
