Painting the Nursery!!!

Tom and I have been so busy cleaning out the nursery to get ready for little Hannah.  We moved the furniture and junk out of the room and have started to paint.  Tom surprised me today!  When I came home from work, he had delivered the crib and changing table/dresser to the house.  He knew it would make me so happy so he went to pick it up during his busy day during his lunch hour.  The crib is in the box and needs to be assembled still but the changing table/dresser is already put together, but it gives us a chance to look at the color of wood we chose and see what it looks like with the paint.  Tom is not 'allowing' me to paint (he says it will make me too tired and my feet swell) but it looks like he doesn't even need my help.  It looks GREAT!  Of course we are not finished yet but we plan to be soon.  Tonight Tom is going to paint the trim and put the second coat on.  If we have time, we are going to put together the crib and put the furniture in the room!  The armoire is in and ready to be picked up with Rob's help on Sunday night.  Fun stuff!  (I say 'we' because I don't like feeling left out when really Tom is doing all the work...it's hard to do stuff when you're baby big)

Tom and I love the color and are very excited to finally get started with Hannah's room.  I think a little part of the enthusiasm is because I put my foot down and told Tom that he wouldn't be playing ANY golf until the nursery was finished.  My guess is we'll be finished in about 4 days!
